Kiwis, Rocks, and Glow Worms!

Another day packed full of...

Visiting a predator free "nursery" for kiwi with Jo of the Paparoa Wildlife Trust, using telemetry to track 7-month old Tuhuru in his next, and getting to see him get weighed and measured in the wild
Looking for jade (pounamu) on the West Coast
Exploring Punakaiki - the Pancake Rocks National Park and Paparoa prehistoric-looking River at sunset
Viewing glow worms in a cave at sunset and then coming out of the cave to admire the NASA-like starry sky

Eating pizza for dinner and weaving a flax fish

We are all tired and off to sleep, but had a great day. Sweet Dreams, m : )
